DAYS/08 NIGHTS TRIVANDURAM -KOVALAM-ALLEPPEY -KUMARAKOM-PERIYAR-MUNNAR-COCHIN
DAY
01 : Arrival
at Trivandrum Airport. Meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer
to Hotel. On arrival check in at the hotel. Afternoon city tour of Trivandrum
visiting Padmanabhaswamy Temple, the Horse Place, Napier Museum, Sri Chitra
Art Gallery etc. Overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 02 : Morning leave by Car/Coach for Alleppey
which is about 175 Kms know as Venice of the East, on arrival transfer
to the House boat, a journey through the scenic backwaters with typical
Kerala meals served on board. Overnight stay in House boat.
DAY 03 : After breakfast on board the houseboat
takes you to Kumarakom, where you check in to your resort -set by the
backwaters and next to a bird sanctuary. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight
stay at the hotel.
DAY 04 : Morning
driver to Periyar, bout 130 Kms journey through spectacular countryside,
you will arrive in the hill station of Periyar. On arrival check in at
the hotel. Then boat ride trip on the lake to see the animals in the Periyar
Wildlife Sanctuary at Close quarters. Overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY
05 : Morning breakfast
at the hotel, visit the fragrant spice plantation. Rest of the day free.
Overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 06 : Morning leave for Munar with is
about 100 Kms, at the Hill station known as 'Tea city'. On arrival check
in at the hotel. Rest of the day free to explore the tea city. Overnight
stay at the hotel.
DAY 07 : Morning visit Munnar's Tea
plantations and take a scenic tour to Top Station or Rajamalai where you
can watch Nilgiri Thar ( rare mountain goats) in their natural habitat.
Afternoon leave for Cochin which is approximately 140 kms. On arrival
check in at the hotel. Rest of the day free. Overnight stay.
DAY
08 : Morning sight seeing tour of Cochin visiting
St. Francis Church ( Sunday Closed), Chinese Fishing nets and Dutch Palace
( Closed on Friday) . In the evening attend a magical Kathakali Dance
Show. Overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 09 : Morning transfer to Airport to catch
flight for onwards journey.
